Happy hump day friends! Has everyone seen the Geico commercial with the camel?! Hahaha I always think of blogging when I see that
Time for another WIAW!
Breakfast: Chobani BITE raspberry&dark chocolate greek yogurt topped with Kashi Go Lean Crunch, with a hard boiled egg & egg white on the side!
One of my new favorite breakfasts! Plus it doesn’t get much cleaner than this
Lunch: mashed sweet potato with cinnamon
Really easy to make! And when I put it in a thermos, it stays fairly warm! Such a delicious lunch. Could have had some more elements too it, but mehhh I’m lazy.
Preworkout: Half an Apple Pie Lara bar
I kept seeing these in the stores and I finally decided to try it! It seriously tastes like apple pie. Even the texture is the same as the filling for an apple pie! The nutrition stats are fine, kind of high in sugar and low in protein, but I was curious. I probably won’t get it again (I don’t really like foods that are supposed to taste like other ones… if that makes sense? ) My mom really liked it though!
Workout: 67 minutes incline walking + 30 minutes upper body strength
I did 35 minutes on the treadmill before weights, then did 6 exercises of 4 sets with 15-20 reps each. It was kind of a hodge podge, but it worked! I did 32 minutes afterwards. Tired and sweaty afterwards!
Dinner: chicken burger and veggies
My mom bought Weight Watchers chicken burgers and they are actually really good! 140 calories each, 25 grams of protein, minimal fat. We also had pan grilled veggies. Healthy dinner, wooohoooo!
Snack: my favorite Luna bar!
Okay I felt a little snacky and like I needed something else. I’m sorry
Volunteering & snack: peanut butter filled pretzels and strawberries
Both pictures x4. These were seriously the BEST strawberries EVER. Someone brought us handpicked strawberries (I’m pretty sure) and watermelon. I’m not a watermelon person but everyone else was raving about them! Those peanut butter filled pretzels are soooooooo good. And addicting!
Volunteering was exhausting. Something about the end of school makes every kid go craaaazy. I was just happy to get home afterward.
Snack (unpictured): Kashi Cinnamon Harvest
My mom came home from the store with these and I wanted some carbs. Totally delicioussssss.
I’m pretty sure I ate more during snacks than I did during actual meals, but Tuesday’s are always hard for me! 2 more days until prom- FOCUSING IN!
Do you ever snack more than you eat meals?
Peanut butter filled pretzels? Yes or no?
